South West Cornwall
Lower Tregiddle holiday cottages are located down a quiet road, near the picturesque village of Gunwalloe, situated on the most southerly peninsula in the UK, the Lizard. The cottages are surrounded by rugged coastal paths, secluded little coves and rolling hills. Close by, Church Cove is an enchanting little beach, full of mystery. It's rumoured to have secret paths leading inland, which the smugglers could have used in days gone by.
Nestled within this idyllic spot and taking advantage of Cornwall's temperate climate, Lower Tregiddle is within easy access to many of the County's main roads making it an ideal base to explore Cornwall. There are many fantastic restaurants nearby. Porthleven a charming harbour village is buzzing with many fine eateries or if you are willing to venture further a field the Beach Cafe in Sennen or The Three Mackerel in Falmouth are well worth a visit. Alternatively, you can have a home cooked meal delivered to your door with Primrose Cottage's catering service.
Whatever your age there is so much to keep you on the go, breathtaking coastal walks, Flambards, days out and activities on the River Fal, visits to the Eden project, Falmouth or the Tate at St Ives. Shopping, visiting the lost gardens of Heligan or going underground at Poldark mine; however, if you are looking for something a little more laid back all the properties have their own private gardens with splendid panoramic views looking over to the sea, are best enjoyed with a long cool drink or a steaming mug of coffee!
